What our customers are saying

Kate Lowder and her daughter Bridgette are two amazing women. I met them through the Teeswater Sheep Society webpage. I was in the market for wool sheep and wanted to find out more. Bridgette invited my family and me to the farm to see how sheep shearing was done. We had so much fun that we went back to volunteer and help with the next group to be sheared. They were so gracious and kind. They welcomed us as though we had been friends for years. Kate is very knowledgeable about several different sheep breeds. She let me know the pros and cons of different wool breeds and has continued to answered any question that I have had since. With her help, I finally decided on Finnsheep. I was eager to experiment with wool textures and needed a sheep for my son. She allowed us to buy a Gotland from her herd. The sheep we purchased has amazing wool and great body conformation. She’s sweet and gentle and has turned out to be a great addition to our farm and my son’s favorite pet.

I started my Teeswater journey with Kate Lowder, unintentionally. I bought a fleece and loved it so much that I ended up buying my first sheep. Kate has always been there for any questions and for the additional sheep that I keep adding. Lowder Farm is the best!!
